An Aussie Pie is an Australian’s food of choice. It’s a national icon, right up there with Fish and Chips (French Fries) and Vegemite (Our national spread). Traditionally an Aussie pie consists of a flaky pastry shell with seasoned ground beef and gravy filling. Much like the progression of the American pizza, Aussie pies are now available in a variety of flavors such as Steak ‘N’ Mushroom or Chicken ‘N’ Broccoli.

The most stylish way to enjoy one is with the pie in one hand and a drink in the other whilst watching a game of Aussie Rules Football. It is preferable to be barracking (rooting) for the West Coast Eagles.
